By joining this blockchain network, Alibaba signals a major cryptocurrency push.

Alibaba Cloud has recently boasted a number of partnerships with well-known networks and organizations, but with its most recent partnership with Avalanche, it has finally entered the cryptocurrency space to hasten the tech giant’s support for Web3.

Avalanche announced on Friday that Alibaba Cloud had joined their public blockchain to support validators and offer cutting-edge infrastructure.

According to the official announcement, the new partnership will allow users to access computing, storage, and distribution resources through Alibaba Cloud’s suite of products as well as launch validator nodes through the service.

With Alibaba’s plug-and-play infrastructure as a service, new participants who are willing to launch new Avalanche validators could do so with ease, strengthening the avalanche ecosystem.

Application developers can also add additional cloud infrastructure to support their app during periods of high demand in order to keep up with user activity, according to Avalanche.

The Avalanche network’s developers can receive credits from Alibaba Cloud toward any of their services as part of a celebration of the new integration.

Google Cloud has been on a rampage for the past few months, where it had partnered with almost all leading blockchain platforms in the crypto space. Be it Ethereum, Solana, Hedera, Google Cloud has been at the forefront of providing cloud infrastructures to crypto companies.
