The latest in a series of inexplicable deaths of Russian oligarchs since the start of Vladimir Putin’s conflict in Ukraine is a 53-year-old crypto billionaire.
Co-founder of Forex Club and president of the Libertex Group Vyacheslav Taran perished in a helicopter crash close to the French-Italian border while his route from Switzerland, according to TASS. Aside from the pilot, he was the only other passenger in the helicopter.
Libertex Group released a statement confirming Taran’s passing following a helicopter crash. “It is with deep sorrow that Libertex Group confirms the death of its co-founder and Chairman of Board of Directors, Vyacheslav Taran,” the statement read.
